The IFS Manufacturing Facility located in Rockford, Illinois has been a premier manufacturer of wire, steel and wood fixtures for retail customers since 1980.
In 1980 the original company was founded by Rob Yedor under the name MYCO. It was a four-employee “mom and pop” shop for Point-of-Purchase displays specifically geared toward the publishing industry. Over the next 19 years MYCO grew significantly and expanded into the 315,000 square foot facility utilized today in Rockford.
In 2000 MYCO was purchased by The Source Company. Source operated two other wire and steel manufacturing facilities in Brooklyn, New York and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the time and wanted to utilize MYCO to expand their footprint throughout the Midwest and West Coast. With the acquisition of MYCO, Source became the largest manufacturer of Front-End Fixtures in the United States and IFS continues to lead the industry today.
Over the next 15 years the Source Company, later rebranded to the Source Interlink, continued their growth and expanded into multiple businesses including magazine distribution and publishing. In 2010 the fixture division was branded Source Interlink Manufacturing and all production was consolidated into the Rockford facility. On May 29, 2014 Source Interlink announced that its distribution arm would soon cease operations. Source Interlink Manufacturing was then purchased in October of 2014 and was rebranded Innovative Fixture Solutions, LLC (IFS).
IFS continues to thrive as a market leader in manufacturing of Front End Merchandisers and POP Fixtures. We proudly serve customers across North America with innovation and best-in-class design for their fixtures.
